Irresistible pumpkin chocolate chip cookies: a fall twist on a classic favorite! Made with a pouch of Betty’s cookie mix, pumpkin butter, and pumpkin pie spice for a tender, melt-in-your-mouth treat bursting with seasonal warmth.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Sugar Cookie Mix
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin butter
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 2 teaspoons water
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1 bag of semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Combine all ingredients in a large bowl until a soft dough forms, then gently fold in chocolate chunks. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F. Use ungreased cookie sheets and place heaping tablespoonfuls of dough about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 8 to 11 minutes until edges turn golden brown. Allow to cool for 1 minute, then transfer from cookie sheets to cooling racks. Cool for at least 5 minutes before serving.
