Indulgent brownie cookies topped with pumpkin spice candy kisses for a perfect fall treat.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.75 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 2.5 sticks butter, softened
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 0.75 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 (10 ounce) bag pumpkin spice-flavored candies (such as Hershey's® Pumpkin Spice Kisses)
Instructions:
  • Combine flour, cocoa, pumpkin pie spice, baking soda, and salt in a bowl, stirring until well mixed.
  • In a large bowl, cream together butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy using an electric mixer. Beat in eggs and vanilla extract until well combined. Gradually mix in the flour mixture.
  • Refrigerate cookie dough for 1 hour. At the same time, remove wrappers from the candy kisses.
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare cookie sheets lined with parchment paper.
  • Shape the dough into 1 1/2-inch balls and gently press down to prevent them from rolling off the cookie sheets.
  • Once the edges are set and starting to brown, bake in the preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes. Transfer cookies to wire cooling racks using parchment paper. Press a candy kiss into the center of each cookie. Allow to cool completely.
