Pumpkin Spice Chex Mix

Sweet and crunchy Chex® Party Mix with butter, brown sugar, and spice.
Ingredients:
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 cups Cinnamon Chex™ cereal
  • 2 cups Wheat Chex™ cereal
  • 2 cups Honey Nut Chex™ cereal
  • 8 oz pecans
Instructions:
  • Combine brown sugar and pumpkin pie spice in a small bowl; set aside. Microwave butter in a small microwave-safe dish on High for about 30 seconds until melted, then stir in vanilla. In a large microwavable bowl, mix all cereals and pecans. Pour the butter mixture over the cereal mixture, stirring until evenly distributed. Add the sugar and spice mixture and mix until coated.
  • Microwave on High for 5 minutes, or until the mixture starts to brown while stirring every minute. Then spread it on wax paper or a cookie sheet to cool before storing in an airtight container.
