Irresistible pumpkin spice Rice Krispies treats for pumpkin lovers!
Ingredients:
  • 6 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 2 (10 ounce) bags mini marshmallows
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 12 cups crispy rice cereal, such as Rice Krispies
Instructions:
  • Prepare the 9x13-inch baking pan by greasing it with butter or cooking spray.
  • In a large pot over medium heat, combine butter, pumpkin puree, vanilla, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and salt. Heat until mixture is smooth. Add marshmallows and stir constantly until melted, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool for 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Combine cereal and mix thoroughly until every piece is coated in the delicious pumpkin-marshmallow mixture. Be prepared to exert some effort for perfect results!
  • Transfer the mixture into the pan and level it out with a spatula. Chill in the freezer until it's cool to the touch, 15 to 30 minutes.
  • Slice and serve by running a knife along the sides of the pan, then invert onto a cutting board. Use a large chef's knife to cut treats into bars.
