Indulge in a delightful surprise with these pumpkin chocolate marble brownies.
Ingredients:
  • 3.5 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon butter, softened
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 1.5 cups pumpkin puree
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup boiling water
  • 0.33333334326744 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon instant espresso powder
  • 2 tablespoons boiling water
  • 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate, finely chopped
  • 0.5 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 large egg yolks
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1.5 cups white sugar
  • 1.75 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 6 ounces bittersweet chocolate, cut into 1/2-inch squares
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C). Grease a large baking pan and line the bottom with aluminum foil, leaving a 1-inch overhang on all sides, then grease the foil.
  • In a medium mixing bowl, blend the cream cheese and butter together on high speed until fully combined, for about 30 seconds. Then, add the sugar and mix thoroughly.
  • Combine pumpkin, maple syrup, egg, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and ginger with cream cheese mixture until smooth. Mix in flour and set aside.
  • In a bowl, vigorously combine boiling water, cocoa, and espresso until a smooth mixture forms. Incorporate unsweetened chocolate until melted. Stir in oil and butter. Add eggs, egg yolks, and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined. Blend in sugar. Gently fold in flour and salt, then carefully incorporate bittersweet chocolate into the brownie batter.
  • Pour the brownie batter into the pan, dollop the cream cheese mixture on top in sections, then swirl gently with a knife to create a marbled effect.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 50 minutes, or until the center is fully set and a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Allow the brownies to cool in the pan on a wire rack. Once cooled, use foil to lift them out of the pan and slice into servings.
