Indulgent pumpkin brownies combine rich chocolate and pumpkin-nut swirls for a decadent fall treat.
Ingredients:
  • 0.75 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.75 cup butter, melted
  • 1.5 cups white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 0.5 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 0.25 cup cocoa powder
  • 0.5 cup pumpkin puree
  • 0.5 cup chopped walnuts
  • 0.75 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Instructions:
  • Prep all ingredients. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8-inch square baking pan.
  • Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl, and mix well.
  • Combine sugar, melted butter, and vanilla in a large bowl, gently stirring until well mixed.
  • Crack one egg into the mixture and stir until fully combined. Repeat with the other two eggs, mixing thoroughly each time.
  • Stir in the flour mixture until fully combined. Transfer half of the batter back into the same medium bowl used for the flour mixture.
  • Combine chocolate chips and cocoa in one bowl of batter and pumpkin puree, walnuts, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg in the second bowl of batter.
  • Alternate layers of rich, decadent chocolate batter and spiced pumpkin goodness in the prepared baking pan.
  • Swirl a kitchen knife or small spatula gently through the layers to create a marbled effect.
  • Bake until brownies gently pull away from the edges of the pan and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, which should take 40 to 45 minutes in the preheated oven.
  • Allow the delectable creation to cool in the pan before cutting it into 16 tempting squares.
  • Serve the dish warm, garnished with a scoop of delicious vanilla ice cream. Indulge in every delightful bite!
