Indulgent pumpkin spice brownies with a rich chocolate twist for a delightful autumn treat.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin puree
  • 0.66666668653488 cup brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons applesauce
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 teaspoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cloves
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and generously grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  • In a large mixing bowl, blend pumpkin, brown sugar, applesauce, egg whites, and egg using an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth. Add flour, cocoa, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt. Mix on low speed until batter is smooth. Spread evenly into the prepared pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let it cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.
