Thanksgiving family favorite that outshines pumpkin pie!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (29 ounce) can pumpkin
  • 1 (12 fluid ounce) can evaporated milk
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
  • 2 cups frozen whipped topping, thawed
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and prepare a 9x13 inch baking pan by lining it with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
  • Combine pumpkin, sugar, and eggs in a large bowl. Add evaporated milk and pumpkin pie spice, then pour into the prepared pan.
  • Evenly scatter the dry cake mix over the pumpkin layer, then generously drizzle the melted butter on top.
  • Bake for 1 hour in a preheated oven until a knife comes out clean when inserted into the cake. Let it cool, then flip it onto a serving dish. Top with whipped cream before serving.
