Summery plum pie with a golden crumb crust - simple and delicious for the whole family.
Ingredients:
  • 4 cups sliced fresh plums
  • 0.25 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 (9 inch) unbaked pastry shell
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons cold butter
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • In a bowl, mix together plums, sugar, flour, lemon juice, salt, and cinnamon, then pour the mixture into the pastry shell.
  • Mix sugar, flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a small bowl. Add butter and blend until you have a crumbly topping. Sprinkle it over the plum mixture.
  • Bake until golden brown in the preheated oven for 50 to 60 minutes.
