Sesame seed-topped sweet bread with Parmesan cheese, perfect for breakfast or a snack.
Ingredients:
  • 3 large eggs, separated, divided
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 0.5 cup butter, melted
  • 1 (4 ounce) package Parmesan cheese, finely grated
  • 0.75 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup rice flour
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, or to taste
Instructions:
  • Assemble all the ingredients.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Whisk egg whites in a glass, metal, or ceramic bowl until they form soft peaks.
  • In a large bowl, mix sugar and melted butter until creamy by beating on high speed.
  • Blend the egg yolks until fully incorporated.
  • Incorporate Parmesan cheese slowly. Then, mix in sour cream and baking powder until batter is smooth.
  • Gently sprinkle rice flour over the batter and fold it in using a spatula. Next, delicately fold in the egg whites.
  • Transfer the batter into a 9x13-inch glass baking dish and generously sprinkle sesame seeds over it.
  • Bake in the oven until the top turns golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, for approximately 38 minutes.
