Creamy Alfredo sauce with half-and-half, rich and low-fat, stovetop ready in 5 minutes for delicious pasta.
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup butter
  • 0.25 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 2 cups half and half
  • 0.33333334326744 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter until smooth. Whisk in flour and garlic salt until fully combined. Gradually stir in half and half until smooth.
  • Combine Parmesan cheese, fresh parsley, and minced garlic into the sauce and bring it to a gentle simmer. Stir and cook until the sauce thickens, which should take about 4 to 5 minutes. Serve right away or store in the refrigerator.
