1920s Italian-inspired creamy Alfredo sauce, a beloved and easy-to-make staple in home kitchens.
Ingredients:
  • 375g fettuccine
  • 25g butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 300ml thickened cream
  • 40.00 ml chopped flat-leaf parsley leaves
  • 82.50 ml finely grated parmesan cheese or vegetarian hard cheese
Instructions:
  • Boil pasta in salted water according to package instructions until cooked. Save 1/4 cup of cooking liquid before draining.
  • In a spacious non-stick pan over medium heat, melt butter. Add garlic and stir while cooking for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Mix in the cream, then gently bring it to a boil. Lower the heat and simmer for 3 to 4 minutes until the sauce slightly thickens. Stir in parsley, parmesan, pasta, and the reserved cooking liquid. Season with salt and pepper, then toss everything together. Serve and enjoy!
