Simple and tasty stovetop chicken noodle casserole topped with buttery stuffing. Perfect family-friendly comfort dish for any weeknight.
Ingredients:
  • 9 ounces egg noodles
  • 2 (10.5 ounce) cans cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 cups cubed cooked chicken
  • 1 (6 ounce) package stuffing mix
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 0.75 cup butter
Instructions:
  • 1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add egg noodles and cook for about 5 minutes until al dente. Drain.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Combine the creamy mixture of chicken soup and sour cream with chicken and noodles. Transfer to a baking dish, then top generously with stuffing mix before baking.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter in chicken broth. Pour this savory mixture over the layer of stuffing.
  • Bake until the casserole is bubbling and the stuffing is golden brown, for about 30 minutes in the preheated oven.
