Protein-packed peanut butter oatmeal with flax seed.
Ingredients:
  • 0.33333334326744 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 2 teaspoons ground flax seed
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.66666668653488 cup water
  • 0.25 cup egg whites
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar, or to taste
  • ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon milk as needed
Instructions:
  • Combine oats, flaxseed, and salt in a microwave-safe container. In a separate bowl, mix water and egg whites, then pour over the oats mixture and stir gently until combined. Microwave on MEDIUM power for 4-6 minutes.
  • Take the bowl out of the microwave and mix in the peanut butter, sugar, and cinnamon. If the oatmeal is too thick, add a splash of milk to soften it. Serve while warm.
