Indulge in angel hair pasta coated in creamy basil-garlic butter sauce. Divine!
Ingredients:
  • 2 ounces angel hair pasta
  • 3 tablespoons chopped sweet onion
  • 0.66666668653488 cup heavy cream
  • 0.25 cup chopped fresh basil
  • 1 pinch salt and ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • 1. Boil a large pot of lightly salted water. Cook the angel hair pasta for 8 to 10 minutes until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining in a colander. Keep warm.
  • While the pasta cooks, melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add onion, cook for 3 minutes, then add garlic and cook until onion is soft and translucent, about 1 to 2 minutes more.
  • Add the heavy cream to the pot and mix in the Parmesan cheese, basil, salt, and pepper. Allow it to simmer, then lower the heat and let it simmer for 2 minutes. If the sauce is too thick, thin it out with some reserved pasta water. Serve the sauce over the angel hair pasta.
