Bake these irresistible rolls that fill your kitchen with a delightful aroma, sure to captivate all who await their arrival.
Ingredients:
  • 2 1/2 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cardamom
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon warm water
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 400°F. In a bowl, combine Bisquick, milk, and egg until a soft dough forms. Transfer dough onto a surface lightly dusted with Bisquick and gently coat by rolling. Knead briefly until smooth.
  • Roll out the dough into a 10x8 inch rectangle. Spread butter evenly over the dough. Combine granulated sugar and cardamom, then sprinkle the mixture over the dough. Roll the dough tightly starting from the 10-inch side. Pinch the edge to seal the roll. Place the roll with the sealed side down on an ungreased cookie sheet. Using scissors, cut the roll at 1-inch intervals almost through to the bottom.
  • Bake for around 20 minutes until golden brown. Combine powdered sugar and warm water until smooth; drizzle over warm rolls.
