Speedy kolacky with customizable fillings.
Ingredients:
  • 4.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 cups butter
  • 1.5 teaspoons white sugar
  • 0.5 pint sour cream
  • 5 eggs
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Mix together flour, baking powder, butter or margarine, sugar, sour cream, and eggs until a smooth dough forms.
  • Dust your work surface liberally with confectioners' sugar. Roll out the dough to a 1/4 inch thickness, adding more sugar as necessary. Cut into 3-inch squares and fill with your choice of nut, poppyseed, or prune filling.
  • Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15 minutes until golden and delicious. Serve and savor!
