Easy pickled jalapeños: vinegar, sugar, garlic, oregano blend for spicy kick on nachos or sandwiches.
Ingredients:
  • 0.75 cup water
  • 0.75 cup distilled white vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon kosher salt
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 0.5 teaspoon oregano
  • 10 large jalapeno peppers, sliced into rings
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan over high heat, combine water, vinegar, sugar, kosher salt, garlic, and oregano. Bring to a boil, stir in jalapeño peppers, then remove from heat. Allow the mixture to cool for 10 minutes before using.
  • Gently place peppers into two 8-ounce jars using tongs, then pour the flavorful vinegar mixture over the peppers. Seal the jars tightly and store in the refrigerator until ready to use.
