Healthier fast-food style fries for a delicious meal tonight!
Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 pounds potatoes (4 medium)
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
Instructions:
  • Preheat the broiler.
  • Scrub and cut potatoes into eighths lengthwise. Place them cut side down on an ungreased jelly roll pan. Lightly brush with oil and sprinkle with half of the salt.
  • Broil the potatoes with the tops positioned about 3 inches from the heat source for approximately 10 minutes, or until they start to gently bubble.
  • Brush the surface lightly with oil and sprinkle with the remaining salt. Broil for an additional 5 minutes or until golden brown and tender.
