Creamy oyster stew ready in under 30 minutes with evaporated milk and water.
Ingredients:
  • 2 (12 ounce) cans evaporated milk
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 cup butter
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 2 (8 ounce) cans oysters, drained
Instructions:
  • Combine the evaporated milk and water in a large pot over medium-low heat, then bring to a gentle boil.
  • Blend the butter into the liquid and season generously with salt and black pepper. Cook until the butter is completely melted, stirring occasionally, for 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Gently fold the oysters into the liquid and let them simmer until the edges curl, approximately 15 minutes.
