Impress guests with a colorful Rainbow Candy Cake using Betty Crocker™ chocolate fudge cake mix for a delectable treat.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ Chocolate Fudge Cake Mix
  • Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on cake mix box
  • 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Vanilla Frosting
  • 25 to 35 gold foil-covered chocolate coins
  • 3/4 cup each red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple candy-coated chocolate candies
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Thoroughly coat two 9-inch round cake pans with baking spray that includes flour.
  • Prepare the cake mix following the instructions on the box, using water, oil, and eggs. Divide the batter evenly into the cake pans. Bake and cool according to the directions for 9-inch rounds.
  • Place one cake layer, rounded side down, on a serving plate. Spread vanilla frosting over the top. Add the second cake layer, rounded side up. Frost the side and top of the cake with the remaining frosting. Enjoy your delicious cake!
  • Place foil-covered coins around the bottom edge of the cake. Then, artistically arrange the chocolate candies by color in individual lines on the top and side of the cake to create a vibrant rainbow display.
