User recipe: "A decadent dessert featuring layers of rich chocolate cake, creamy chocolate mousse, and fresh raspberries, topped with a glossy chocolate ganache. Perfect for special occasions or indulgent treat." Rewritten: Indulge in a luscious chocolate raspberry mousse cake, a showstopper for any celebration.
Ingredients:
  • 75g plain flour
  • 150g self-raising flour
  • 6 eggs
  • 40.00 gm boiling water
  • 3 different food colourings of choice
  • 1 quantity icing (glaze, buttercream, fondant)
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 180C. Grease a 22cm round cake tin, line it with baking paper, and lightly dust the sides with flour.
  • Sift the flours three times onto baking paper. Beat eggs in a large bowl for 7 minutes until thick and pale. Gradually add sugar to eggs, beating after each addition. Gently fold in sifted flour and boiling water using a large metal spoon.
  • Divide the mixture into three portions. Add a few drops of different colors to each portion. Spoon each colored mixture randomly into the cake tin. Use a skewer to gently swirl the colors together.
  • Bake the cake in the oven for 25 minutes or until a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean. Let it cool thoroughly before frosting.
