Indulge in a refreshing raspberry lemonade for a delightful twist on a classic!
Ingredients:
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 4 lemons)
  • 3 1/2 cups water
  • 1 container (10 ounces) frozen raspberries in syrup, thawed
  • 3/4 cup water
Instructions:
  • Combine sugar and 1/2 cup of water in a 1-quart saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar is fully dissolved. Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature.
  • Combine the cooled sugar syrup, lemon juice, and 3 1/2 cups of water in a nonmetal 2-quart pitcher. Let the raspberries sit in a strainer over a small bowl to drain without pushing them through. Save the berries for making ice cubes. Mix the raspberry liquid into the lemon mixture and chill in the refrigerator.
  • Evenly distribute raspberries into 12 sections of an ice cube tray. Pour 3/4 cup of water evenly among the raspberry-filled sections. Freeze for about 2 hours or until solid. Serve lemonade over the raspberry ice cubes.
