- 1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
- 1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 1 pint blueberries, rinsed and drained
- 2 pints fresh strawberries, rinsed and sliced
- Follow the instructions on the cake mix box and bake the cake in a 9x13-inch pan. Allow the cake to cool thoroughly.
- Top the cake with whipped topping. Arrange blueberries in a square in one corner and line up sliced strawberries to create stripes resembling an American flag. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
