Indulge in a refreshing homemade watermelon sorbet, perfect for summer days.
Ingredients:
  • 8 cups cubed seeded watermelon
  • 2 medium limes, zested and juiced, divided
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 pinch chili-lime seasoning (such as Tajin®)
Instructions:
  • Spread the watermelon cubes in a single layer on a sheet pan and freeze for at least 5 hours or overnight.
  • Prepare lime zest and reserve for garnishing. Extract enough juice from the limes to yield 2 tablespoons.
  • Puree half of the watermelon cubes in a food processor with honey and lime juice until smooth. Transfer the creamy mixture to a large bowl. Repeat this process with the remaining watermelon, honey, and lime juice.
  • Combine the 2 batches, then serve right away with a sprinkle of lime zest and Tajin®. Alternatively, store in a freezer-safe container and freeze for a more solid consistency.
