Indulge in flavorful seasoned refried bean tacos with lettuce and cheese without the guilt.
Ingredients:
  • 1 can (16 oz) Old El Paso™ Fat Free Refried Beans
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 8 fat-free flour tortillas (8 to 10 inch)
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese (2 oz)
Instructions:
  • Combine beans, salsa, and chili powder in a 1-quart saucepan. Heat over medium heat for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until mixture is warmed through.
  • Spoon a generous 1/4 cup of bean mixture onto the center of each tortilla, lightly spreading it. Add fresh lettuce and a sprinkle of cheese on top. Fold over the sides and ends of the tortillas for a neat package. Serve with extra salsa for a burst of flavor, if desired.
