Cheesy, spicy refried bean dip - a crowd-pleasing party favorite with Cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses. Ideal for game days and potlucks, best served with crunchy tortilla chips.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 (16 ounce) cans refried beans
  • 1 (1.25 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
  • 2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese, divided
Instructions:
  • Combine cream cheese and sour cream in a bowl.
  • Combine refried beans, 1 cup of sharp Cheddar cheese, 1 cup of Monterey Jack cheese, and taco seasoning until thoroughly mixed.
  • Evenly spread the mixture over the base of a slow cooker.
  • Spread the remaining cheese evenly over the mixture.
  • Cook on High, covered, until heated through, approximately 2 hours.
