Whip up a delicious springtime dessert with this quick and easy rhubarb strawberry dump cake using fresh ingredients and cake mix. Ready in under an hour!
Ingredients:
  • 4 cups chopped rhubarb
  • 2 cups sliced strawberries
  • 1 (3 ounce) package strawberry-flavored gelatin mix (such as Jell-O®)
  • 0.25 cup white sugar, or more to taste
  • 1 (15.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 0.25 cup butter
Instructions:
  • Begin by preheating the oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C), then generously grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  • Spread rhubarb and strawberries in a baking pan. Sprinkle strawberry-flavored gelatin mix over fruit, followed by cake mix. Pour water over cake mix without stirring, then top with dots of butter.
  • Bake the cake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, until it's bubbly.
