Whip up a quick and easy crumble with just 6 basic ingredients.
Ingredients:
  • 10 stalks of rhubarb, rinsed and chopped
  • 75g caster sugar
  • 125g cold unsalted butter, chopped
  • 175g plain flour
  • 50g brown sugar
  • 25g raisins
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 170°C.
  • Combine the rhubarb and caster sugar in a saucepan over gentle heat, stirring occasionally, cook for 5 minutes. Set aside off the heat once done.
  • Make the crumble topping by gently combining the butter, flour, brown sugar, and raisins. Transfer the rhubarb mixture to a 4-cup ovenproof dish or four 1-cup ramekins. Sprinkle the crumble on top. Bake for 15 minutes, then serve warm with custard.
