Tangy rhubarb jam with orange, perfect on toast, yogurt, or in cake.
Ingredients:
  • 2.5 pounds fresh rhubarb, chopped
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 0.5 cup water
  • 0.33333334326744 cup orange juice
  • 2 teaspoons grated orange zest
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan over high heat, mix rhubarb, sugar, water, orange juice, and orange zest. Bring to a boil. Lower the heat to medium-low and cook while stirring occasionally until thick, approximately 45 minutes. The jam will thicken further as it cools.
  • Carefully transfer the mixture into sterilized jars while they are still hot. Seal the jars with the lids and rings. Place any opened jars in the refrigerator for storage.
