Italian-spiced bread crumbs coat roasted cauliflower and broccoli for a crispy, flavorful twist.
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons Italian-seasoned bread crumbs
  • 0.25 teaspoon dried minced onion, or to taste
  • 0.25 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning, or to taste
  • 0.25 teaspoon Cajun seasoning, or to taste
  • 0.25 teaspoon Italian seasoning, or to taste
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground paprika, or to taste
  • 0.25 teaspoon garlic salt, or to taste
  • 1 head cauliflower
  • 1 head broccoli
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • nonstick cooking spray
Instructions:
  • Combine bread crumbs, onion, lemon-pepper, Cajun seasoning, Italian seasoning, paprika, and garlic salt in a small bowl, stirring until well mixed.
  • Prepare the cauliflower and broccoli by cutting them into florets. Slice the broccoli stems thickly. Place each vegetable into separate resealable plastic bags. Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and half of the breadcrumb mixture to each bag. Seal the bags tightly and shake to coat the vegetables evenly. Let them sit for at least 10 minutes or refrigerate until needed.
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and give your baking pan a quick spritz with cooking spray.
  • Arrange the vegetables on the pan.
  • Roast in the oven until perfectly tender and crispy, approximately 20 minutes.
