Irresistible caramelized vegetables with balsamic glaze and a hint of sweetness.
Ingredients:
  • 6 medium potatoes, chopped
  • 6 medium carrots, peeled and chopped
  • 3 medium onions, chopped
  • 6 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 0.25 teaspoon dried sage
  • 0.25 teaspoon dried basil
  • 0.25 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
  • sea salt and ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) for a perfect bake.
  • Combine potatoes, carrots, onions, garlic, sage, and basil in a large bowl. Drizzle with oil and balsamic vinegar, then toss to coat evenly. Spread mixture onto a rimmed baking sheet.
  • Roast in the oven, tossing occasionally for even cooking, until tender, for about 30 minutes. Sprinkle with brown sugar and roast for an additional 10 minutes. Season with sea salt and pepper before serving.
