Elevate salmon with an easy marinade of orange juice, balsamic vinegar, and ginger for a gourmet experience.
Ingredients:
  • 2 pounds salmon fillet
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 2 teaspoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh ginger root
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 400 degrees F (200 degrees C)!
  • In a small saucepan, gently simmer the orange juice over medium-low heat for 10 to 15 minutes until it reduces by half and thickens. Once done, remove from heat and let it cool.
  • Combine balsamic vinegar and fresh ginger root with orange juice.
  • Prepare a medium baking dish by lining it with parchment paper. Gently place the salmon fillet on the paper, ensuring the skin side is facing down. Sprinkle the fillet with a touch of salt and pepper for seasoning. Drizzle half of the orange juice mixture over the salmon.
  • Bake the salmon in a preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes. Brush with the leftover marinade and bake for an additional 10 to 15 minutes, until easily flaked with a fork.
