Roasted Sesame Asparagus

15-minute sesame asparagus - rich nutty flavor.
Ingredients:
  • 1 lb fresh asparagus spears (about 16)
  • 1 tablespoon dark sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon wasabi paste
  • 1/4 teaspoon black or white sesame seed
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 450°F. Snap off tough ends of asparagus where they naturally break. Arrange asparagus in a single layer in a 15x10x1-inch baking pan without greasing.
  • In a small bowl, combine all remaining ingredients except sesame seeds. Pour the mixture over the asparagus, ensuring each spear is evenly coated.
  • Roast the asparagus for 8 to 10 minutes until crisp-tender and slightly charred, then sprinkle with sesame seeds.
