Crispy baked yam slices, a quick and delicious vegetable side dish.
Ingredients:
  • 1 large yam, peeled and cut into 1/4 inch thick slices
  • kosher salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and prepare a baking sheet or shallow baking dish by lining it with aluminum foil.
  • Lay yam slices in the pan, slightly overlapping. Season with salt and pepper, then evenly drizzle olive oil over the top.
  • Roast in the oven until tender and the yam slices start to caramelize around the edges, approximately 30 minutes.
