Root beer cake with crushed candies, perfect for kids. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
Ingredients:
  • all-purpose flour for dusting
  • 1 (15.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
  • 1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle root beer
  • 0.25 cup vegetable oil
  • 0.5 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 3 tablespoons root beer
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and generously grease and flour a 10-inch Bundt pan.
  • Combine cake mix, root beer, eggs, and oil in a large bowl until mixture is smooth. Transfer batter to the prepared pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let the cake cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then invert onto a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Prepare the glaze by combining confectioners' sugar and root beer in a small bowl, whisking until smooth.
  • Insert a skewer into the cooled cake at 2-inch intervals to create holes. Drizzle the glaze evenly over the cake.
