Rosemary and parmesan biscuits

Savory biscuits - the perfect addition to any cheese platter or as a delightful accompaniment to wine for your guests to enjoy.
Ingredients:
  • 100g parmesan
  • 100g butter, chopped
  • 110g plain flour
  • 12.00 gm polenta
  • 20.00 ml coarsely chopped rosemary
  • 1.25 gm smoked paprika
  • 1 Free Range Egg yolk
  • Sesame seeds, to decorate
  • Poppy seeds, to decorate
  • Caraway seeds, to decorate
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 180C and prepare 2 baking trays by lining them with baking paper.
  • Combine parmesan, butter, flour, polenta, rosemary, and paprika in a food processor until mixed. Add the egg yolk and process until the dough just forms. Transfer to a lightly floured surface and gently knead until smooth. Shape into a 40cm-long, 4cm-diameter log. Wrap in baking paper and chill in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  • 1. Slice the log into 5mm-thick discs using a small sharp knife and arrange them on lined trays. Sprinkle sesame seeds, poppy seeds, and caraway seeds on top, alternating between seeds and biscuits. Bake for 12-15 mins or until lightly golden, rotating trays halfway through baking. Let cool on the trays before serving.
