Juicy rotisserie chicken with crispy skin, effortlessly grilled to perfection. A cherished family favorite.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (3 pound) whole chicken
  • 0.25 cup butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon ground paprika
  • 0.25 tablespoon ground black pepper
Instructions:
  • Get the outdoor grill ready by preheating it on high heat and giving the grate a light oiling.
  • First, generously season the chicken cavity with a pinch of salt. Next, tie the legs together with kitchen string and secure the wings to the bird. Finally, securely attach the chicken to the rotisserie.
  • Cook the rotisserie over the hot grill for 10 minutes.
  • Mix together swiftly butter, 1 tablespoon of salt, paprika, and pepper. Lower the grill heat to medium and generously coat chicken with the butter mixture.
  • Cover and cook on medium heat, occasionally spooning the juices over the chicken, until the chicken is fully cooked and reaches an internal temperature of 180 degrees F (83 degrees C), for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
  • Take the succulent chicken out of the rotating spit and allow it to rest for 10 to 15 minutes before slicing.
