Dijon mustard seasoned sirloin steak rolls filled with onion, pickle, and topped with rich gravy.
Ingredients:
  • 6 (1/2 pound) sirloin tip steaks, thin cut
  • 3 slices bacon, cut in half
  • 2 dill pickles, cut into 3 wedges
  • prepared Dijon-style mustard
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 onion, cut into 6 wedges
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 (.75 ounce) packets dry brown gravy mix
Instructions:
  • Lay the sirloin flat on a cutting board and season with mustard, salt, and pepper. Place half a strip of bacon, an onion wedge, and a pickle wedge on top. Roll the steak ensuring all ingredients are neatly tucked inside, then tie it up with butcher string. Repeat for each steak.
  • In a large stock pot over medium heat, sizzle the meat in 2 tablespoons of oil until beautifully browned.
  • Cover the meat with water and simmer over medium-low heat for 1 hour.
  • Stir in the gravy mix once the meat is cooked and heat until warmed through.
