Instructions:
In a large resealable dish or bag, mix together milk, cola, and steak sauce. Add the tenderized round steak and marinate for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for enhanced flavor.
In a shallow dish, mix flour, salt, pepper, paprika, granulated onion, and granulated garlic for the chicken breading. In another shallow dish, beat the egg until light and frothy. Stir in buttermilk, salt, and pepper.
After marinating the steaks, coat them in the chicken fry mixture, then dip them in the chicken dip mixture, and coat them again in the chicken fry mixture. Place the steaks on a sheet pan, press any remaining flour mixture onto them, and let them rest for 10 minutes.
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
Place the steaks in the air fryer basket and give them a light coat of vegetable oil spray.
Air-fry steaks for 4 minutes, then flip and coat with vegetable oil spray. Continue air-frying for another 4 minutes. Serve on toasted buns with lettuce, tomato, pickles, and mayonnaise.
