Elevate your holiday treats with bourbon instead of rum for a festive twist!
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 3 tablespoons corn syrup
  • 0.5 cup rum
  • 2.5 cups crushed vanilla wafers
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 0.33333334326744 cup confectioners' sugar
Instructions:
  • In a microwave-safe medium bowl, melt the chocolate chips in the microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth. Stir in sugar, corn syrup, and rum. Add crushed vanilla wafers and chopped nuts, mixing until evenly combined. Refrigerate until firm. Enjoy!
  • Shape the chilled chocolate mixture into bite-size balls, then coat them in a mixture of ground nuts and confectioner's sugar or simply confectioner's sugar. Let the balls sit in a covered container for a week to allow the flavors to meld before serving.
