Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup raisins
  • 3 tablespoons rum
  • 0.66666668653488 cup whipping cream
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 0.66666668653488 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.33333334326744 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 eggs
  • 0.75 cup chopped toasted pecans
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C) and line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper.
  • Soak the raisins in rum in a small bowl for added flavor.
  • Warm the whipping cream in a small pot over gentle heat until hot, but avoid boiling. Take off the heat and blend in the chocolate chips until fully melted. Let it cool.
  • Combine the flour, brown sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and cinnamon in a bowl. Add and mix eggs one by one. Gently incorporate the chocolate mixture. Fold in raisins, remaining rum, and pecans. Spread batter into the prepared baking pan.
  • Bake in the oven until the top is dry and the edges pull away from the pan, approximately 30 minutes.
