Rum-infused pineapple and banana adult dessert.
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup fat-free caramel ice cream topping
  • 1 tablespoon rum
  • 4 slices (1/2-inch-thick) cored fresh pineapple
  • 2 small bananas
  • 3 cups fat-free vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt
Instructions:
  • In a 10-inch skillet, combine the ice cream topping and rum. Cook over medium heat for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the topping is melted and the mixture is smooth.
  • Cut each pineapple slice into 6 wedges for juicy sweetness and textural delight. Peel bananas and cut diagonally into 1/2-inch-thick slices. Gently fold pineapple and bananas into the topping mixture. Cook over medium heat for about 2 minutes, stirring gently, until the fruit is thoroughly heated.
  • Spoon 1/2 cup of ice cream into each dessert dish, then top with the fruit mixture.
