Ingredients:
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 3 tablespoons bourbon
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Pour bourbon over walnuts in a small bowl and let them soak.
  • Combine sugar, corn syrup, and eggs in a large bowl. Mix in butter, chocolate chips, and vanilla. Fold in bourbon and nuts. Transfer the filling into the pie shell.
  • Place in the oven and bake until golden brown, about 45 minutes.
