Quick and elegant sandwich recipe for four, broiled to perfection in minutes with just five ingredients.
Ingredients:
  • 1 loaf (1 pound) rustic sourdough baguette bread
  • 1/3 cup Italian dressing
  • 2 small ripe avocados, pitted and peeled
  • 4 small tomatoes, sliced
  • 6 ounces sliced Cheddar cheese
Instructions:
  • Slice the bread in half horizontally. Next, generously drizzle the dressing on the cut side of the top half of the bread. Then, lay both halves on a large baking sheet.
  • Smash avocados until slightly smooth. Spread over bottom half of bread, then add tomato slices and cheese. Place under broiler 4 to 6 inches from heat and cook for 2 to 3 minutes until cheese melts and bread is golden brown. Add top half of bread, then cut into 4 pieces. Serve and enjoy!
