Pan-seared salmon topped with garlic and green onion oyster sauce, served with fluffy rice.
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 0.25 cup brown sugar
  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • 0.25 cup oyster sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 pounds salmon fillets
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons warm water
Instructions:
  • In a medium skillet over medium heat, warm the oil. Add garlic and brown sugar, cooking until garlic is lightly browned. Then add green onions, cooking until tender. Stir in oyster sauce and water.
  • In a skillet over medium low heat, place salmon fillets and spoon sauce over them. Cook for 10 to 15 minutes until the fish easily flakes with a fork.
  • Take the fish out of the skillet and keep it warm. Combine cornstarch and warm water with the sauce and mix until it thickens. Drizzle over the salmon before serving.
