Savory puff pastry bites with feta, shrimp, and spinach filling for a delicious twist on classic salmon puffs.
Ingredients:
  • 12 ounces crumbled feta cheese
  • 8 ounces smoked salmon, chopped
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 0.125 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 frozen puff pastry sheet (from a 17 1/4-oz package), thawed but kept chilled
  • 1 large egg white, beaten
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and get those baking sheets ready with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, mix together feta cheese, smoked salmon, black pepper, and garlic to create the filling.
  • Roll out puff pastry into a 12x12-inch sheet on a lightly floured surface. Cut into sixteen 3x3-inch squares. Spoon filling in the middle of each square. Fold corners together to create 16 packets. Brush with beaten egg white and place on baking sheets.
  • Simply bake in the preheated oven until beautifully golden brown for about 20 minutes, then serve warm.
