Prepare this delightful salted caramel chocolate tart in advance to enjoy stress-free on the big night.
Ingredients:
  • 220g frozen sweet flan pastry case
  • 380g can caramel Top 'n' Fill
  • 0.60 gm sea salt flakes
  • 180g dark chocolate, chopped
  • 126.25 gm pure cream
  • Cocoa powder, to serve
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 180°C/160°C fan-forced. Place the pastry case in a foil tin on a baking tray and bake for 10 minutes.
  • Smooth a luscious layer of caramel over the pastry base and bake for 20 minutes, or until the caramel turns a glorious golden hue. Finish by sprinkling a touch of salt over the top.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate and cream together until smooth, stirring every 30 seconds. Pour mixture over caramel, refrigerate overnight, and serve dusted with cocoa powder.
