Indulge in the ultimate dessert combo: apple crisp meets cheesecake, topped with luscious salted caramel.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 6 large apples, peeled, cut into 1-inch chunks (about 8 cups)
  • 3/4 cup salted caramel topping
  • Ice cream, if desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and generously coat a 13x9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Combine cookie mix, oats, 1/4 cup brown sugar, and 1 teaspoon cinnamon in a large bowl. Pour in melted butter and mix until crumbly. Set aside.
  • Combine cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla in a small bowl, then beat until smooth. Set aside.
  • Combine apples with the luscious blend of brown sugar and cinnamon in a large bowl, then transfer the mixture evenly into the baking dish.
  • Drizzle dollops of the creamy cheese mixture haphazardly over the apples, then generously sprinkle with the cookie mixture.
  • Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until the topping is golden brown and the apples are tender. Serve warm with a drizzle of salted caramel topping. Refrigerate any leftovers.
