Whip up these salted caramel spritz cookies for a delightful holiday treat that's quick, easy, and great for sharing or gifting.
Ingredients:
  • 0.75 cup individually wrapped caramels (such as Kraft®), unwrapped
  • 0.25 cup half-and-half
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 0.33333334326744 cup packed dark brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 0.75 teaspoon sea salt
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a saucepan, melt caramels with half-and-half over low heat, stirring until smooth, approximately 5 minutes.
  • Cream together the butter and brown sugar in a bowl with an electric mixer until fluffy. Mix in the egg and salt, then incorporate the liquid caramel sauce. Gradually add the flour and beat until well combined.
  • Load the cookie press with the dough and squeeze onto baking sheets, spacing 1 to 2 inches apart.
  • Bake until edges are golden, about 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven.
